Shortly after a wild experience where God took hold of the wheel of Dan’s car and pulled him in front of a building on Hwy 53 in Duluth, MN; the ministry known as Jesus is Life Ministries began, it was October in 1998. Those first days were God driven and Dan didn’t know what he was doing for sure, sitting behind a desk with a phone in a mostly empty 500 sq/ft building like a “Maytag” repairman, God birthed this ministry. Several transitions later, sharing resources like books, tapes and videos and a Bible Study soon became two ministries.
The first Jesus is Life Ministries & Bookstore (now known as Jesus is Life Bookstore), this moved and expanded into the current location in the Village Mall behind Bridgemans, 2000 sq/ft of Books, Bibles, CD’s, Movies and Gifts that serve the Twin Ports. People come in for materials and can receive prayer, healing, deliverance and most importantly Jesus. We have seen people get saved, healed, delivered and their loved ones saved through prayer at this fun and powerful place.
The second ministry, a church, Jesus is Life World Ministries was birthed in a house on Hwy 53 in Duluth, MN in 2000, 9 months later it moved to the LeGrand Supper Club and after another 9 month period in September of 2001 it moved to its current location in West Duluth. Today the church has a healing & deliverance ministry, supports 2 prison ministries, missions in India, and the Dominican Republic, a street ministry, a food shelf, clothing shelf and joins with other local ministries and churches in the Twin Ports in prayer to see the transformation of this wonderful area on the shores of Lake Superior in northern Minnesota.
